While digging through the Delicious Archives the other evening, we came across a most interesting document: Spike Jonze’s one page treatment for his utterly friggin’ magical video for the Pharcyde’s Drop. That video left people puzzling on exactly how it was created, and twelve years after it originally aired its legendary status is secured: the clip looks as fresh as ever. In order to give you a glimpse into Spike’s mind, we’re posting his original one-page video treatment. Now, either this is gonna provide you with some insight, or perhaps the sheer simplicity of the treament may only make you wonder more than ever how Spike went from concept to execution. (Would “vidiot savant” be the proper term?)…
