To mark a flourishing first year and continue to celebrate the artists that DVTV has had the pleasure of spotlighting, Delicious Vinyl have expertly curated DVTV Compilation Vol 1. The twelve track compilation features a mix of unreleased exclusives and special rarities from a selection of the fine guests that have graced the DVTV airwaves. And to further enlighten listeners, we are talking to each artist in a series of Q&A features about their music and how they came to the Delicious Vinyl HQ.
Next up we have: Fresh Daily.
Peace, I’m Fresh Daily. I rap, make beats, and draw/design things.
When did you play DVTV?
How would you describe “The Most Incredible”? And how did you hook up with Muneshine?
Muneshine is a dope producer from Canada, and we had a mutual respect for each other’s music. He did a track for me, I did a verse for him, and we’d go back and forth collaborating. “The Most Incredible” is a beat that feels so Jay-Z Reasonable Doubt era to me; very New York and a perfect platform for me to talk about why I’m so ill.
Is there anyone who you would love to see play DVTV?
Too many to name but Exile, Earl Sweatshirt, Drake, MF DOOM and Mos Def are a few.
How did you first discover or learn about Delicious Vinyl as a label?
The Pharcyde. Then later, the remix series.
