Next up we have: Dacel.
Hi, I’m Daniel Celso a.k.a. Dacel. Vinyl junkie and producer from Chile. DJ and turntablist since ’92.
When did you play DVTV?
June 22, 2012, session number six.
Tell us about “Oslec”?
In 2011 and 2012 I had the opportunity to live in California, and at the time I created my album ESCAPE. Returning from that trip, “Oslec” track was the first thing I did.
Do you have a favorite track on the compilation?
I really like the track “OKTHENWRDYUP” by MNDSGN.
Is there anyone who you would love to see play DVTV?
I would like to see all the great producers that influence my work from the 90’s until now: Pete Rock, Muggs, Jay Dee, Premier, Nik Wiz, DJ Krush, D.I.T.C., Kev Brown, Caspa, 14KT, Madlib, Georgia Anne, Jneiro Jarrel, MonoPoly, Ras G, to name a few.
How did you first discover or learn about Delicious Vinyl as a label?
I discovered Delicious Vinyl in 1995 when a neighbourhood friend lent me the Pharcyde’s Labcabincalifornia and the classic Masta Ace Sittin’ on Chrome tapes.
